What is RBI Grade B

It is a mid-management level post in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which is India’s central bank.

Grade B Officers are involved in policy, regulation, supervision, economic research, statistics, financial markets, bank regulation, etc.

There are different streams like General, DEPR (Department of Economic & Policy Research), DSIM (Statistics & Information Management). Occasionally there may be other specialized streams (e.g. Legal, etc.).

Job Profile / Duties
What you’ll essentially do as a Grade B Officer:
